Ageing Zsa Zsa Gabor clings to the glamorous life

Former sex symbol Zsa Zsa Gabor may be approaching her 91st birthday, but the once flamboyant socialite still has a flair for glamour.

While the years have clearly caught up on the ageing Hungarian-born star, a great-aunt of Paris Hilton, she proved one is never too old for a day of primping as she arrived a Beverly Hills beauty salon yesterday.

It was a rare outing for the star of 1950s film Moulin Rouge and Queen of Outer Space, who has been in virtual seclusion since suffering a stroke in 2005.

While she has step away from the spotlight she once desperately craved - she was, after all, credited as the first celebrity who was famous for being famous - her love life has still made headlines.

Earlier this year, her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt was the third man to contest the paternity of Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter, claiming that he had a decade-long affair with the troubled model.

Before Dannielynn's biological father was revealed as photographer Larry Birkhead, Frederic filed adoption papers for the child, however Zsa Zsa refused to sign them.

Still it appears her latest marriage - she has had nine husbands in total - has survived the scandal.

He was on hand to help the frail star, who now relies on a wheel chair, as she left at the salon following her appointment.

Forget yourself for others, and others will never forget you.
