Computer Education for Senior Citizens

An initiative by Silver Innings in association with Sterlite Foundation

With the belief that our Elders should upgrade themselves with latest technology and should not be isolated from rest of the world, Silver Innings in association with Sterlite Foundation introduces a Pilot Project of Computer Education for Senior Citizens in three centers in Mumbai.

Computer and technology knowledge are inaccessible to many but here is a chance to develop your skills and also be part of the brigade marching forward to give back to society and educate them.

We invite Senior Citizens and organizations working with them to register for the computer classes, learn, come back and volunteer with the Sterlite Foundation.

Venue:
1) Sterlite Training Institute,
Vithalwadi,
Dist. Thane, Maharashtra

2) Sterlite Training Institute,
Near Delise Rd Police Station,
Lower Parel (E), Mumbai

3) Sterlite Training Institute,
Near Colaba Bus Station,
Colaba, Mumbai

Duration for the various combination of the courses is: 2 months

Age Group: 50 years and above

Educational Qualification: not essential

Fees: Rs.100/- per month, i.e. Rs.200/- for the combined course for two months

Advantage:
Senior Citizens will get basic computer knowledge.
Volunteering and Mentoring Opportunity with Sterlite Foundation and give back to society.
Certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the course.
